In the beginning of last trading week USD was quite firm against everything like almost every beginning of a New Year, however by the end things have changed much and there were severe shocks of many financial markets across the world. Several big players on the market reported huge losses this week. So the fear helped GOLD to clumb and close the week above 1100.EUR has recovered losses and will try to build a solid support at 1.0890-1.0910 from which to attack 1.1000 again. But as long as we are below 1.1050 on Daily frame the outlook remains bearish. I expect also by the end of this week the dollar to push EUR below 1.0900 again. First support is 1.0865 then 1.0820, if the second is broken another 60-80 pips to the downside will follow. Resistances are 1.0930-1.0975-1.1020-1.1050GOLD has entered inside the huge negative Daily Ichimoku cloud which is quite possible to prevent the metal from going further up in the days ahead. However the fear across the markets is not over yet and this will keep GOLD bulls alive for some more time. 1092 will be used as support but the price may drop to 1082 by the end of the week. First resistance comes at 1118 and the main resistance is 1147.NZD continued to loose positions the whole past week and for now recovery to the upside seems almost impossible. To stop the free fall the pair needs to be back above 0.6670 resistance, which is pretty far for now. Support is at 0.6560, breaking below will look for support at 0.6610 and 0.6485.AUD moves are similal to these of NZD, another looser of the week. Below 0.7010 the pair is extremely bearish and will suffer further losses. Limited recovery is possible above 0.7050 to 0.7090. But the outlook for the week is negative. 0.7190 is the reversal point for the pair, but it's way too high.JPY has made a powerful recovery killing the dollar with a strong move with no any chances for recovery. The pair is extremely bearish and i think that this week we shall drop below 116.00. Below 119.00 the pair is extremely bearish, do not enter LONG.GBP was the greatest looser of the week, the price may continue to drop slowly ahead of BoE meeting this week. Be careful as we shall have a huge volatility with this pair and the reaction is quite unpredictable. You'd better stay aside for this week and wait for the BoE reaction patiently.RUB with a fresh bottom during past week. the price of the pair hit 76.00 for the first time. Above 74.70 you may enter LONG again. The pair is currently into a correction move. Main support is 73.20, above that bulls are safe.
Good luck!
