After the US's decision to start tapering it's QE programme with clear guidance on how long and by how much it will likely continue at the market will be looking to the USD to strengthen over the coming year, as long as the economic data continues to show a strong recovery.

Meanwhile, the Bank of Japan have announced that they will continue their own programme of QE as long as it takes, and that it has so far been 'semi successful' in achieving its goals. They have indicated that they may need to add to the stimulus measures in 2014.

Look for buying opportunities on USD/JPY.
