Parliamentary affairs ministry in an informed that the Parliament will take the Finance Bill for discussion tomorrow, while the constitution amendment bill on GST will be taken up by the lower house next week.

On the Finance Bill, the Finance Ministry and the Central Bank have reached a compromise according to which the government is sticking with its proposal to create a separate Public Debt Management Agency but it has conceded that the central bank will retain the regulatory power over the government's bond market.

On FX, USD/INR wobbling around 63.200 lvls, nearly steady from last close at 63.1450. Unlikely to see any overextended moves as market players watch the FOMC decision due later today. SENSEX trading around 27200, down 0.5% from last close; index heavy weights ITC and HDFC lost more than 2%, while telecoms witnessed some profit taking post their March quarter earnings. BB
