GBP/USD - ...... Although cable gained respite in Asian trading after yesterday's cross-inspired sharp selloff from 1.4913 to a fresh 8-1/2 month trough of 1.4786 and ratcheted higher on short-covering to 1.4844, renewed selling emerged ahead of European open and knocked the pair back down to 1.4813 in early European trading, suggesting downside bias remains for weakness towards said yesterday's temporary low later today. 

Offers are noted at 1.4830/40 and more above with stops touted above 1.4870. 
Some bids are reported at 1.4810/00 and more below (profit taking) with stops below 1.4780.
