The ECB will hold its monthly meeting at 1145GMT, with market consensus expecting the Governing Council to leave the benchmark rate unchanged at -0.50%.

Following the interest rate decision, President Mario Draghi will give his usual press conference at 1230GMT. Prior surveys point to a somewhat hawkish tone from Draghi, with emphasis on the upbeat recovery in the euro bloc despite inflation pressures in the region remain subdued.
