EUR/USD Technical Analysis: Bulls looking hopeful from 1.1350

  • The EUR/USD looks set to generate some lift heading into  Monday's European market session, rising from current lows near 1.1325 in the day's early action.
  • The Euro got knocked further back on Friday following a disappointing miss for European inflation figures, and EU investors could be looking to regain their poise for the day.

EUR/USD Chart, 5-Minute

  • The past two weeks have seen the EUR/USD take a couple of decent hits, slipping from a near-term high of 1.1472, and with technical indicators beginning to lean into overbought territory, the Fiber may still need another week before launching a bullish counter-attack.

EUR/USD Chart, 30-Minute

  • Looking back over the past two months, further downside certainly looks possible, with a lower highs pattern maintaining a firm market presence since mid-October's upswing t 1.1620, and last week's failed attempt at the 200-period moving average could see the EUR/USD slumping back into the 1.1200 handle.
