Monero is once again targeted in a new cryptocurrency mining malware that is executing on vulnerable computers. The malware referred to as GoLang was discovered by several researchers who say that it is written using the Go programming language, especially on vulnerable Linux-based servers.

At the same time, a researcher by name F5 details that the malware uses up to seven methods to spread. As reported by Finance Magnates “four methods involves targeting the server-level programming languages, while others involve the misconfigured credentials in the SSH or Redis database.”
