Japan's Aso: Japan to cooperate with G7 to contain new virus

G7 finance leaders held a conference call on Wednesday to discuss coronavirus responses, Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso said, as reported by Reuters.
"G7 finance ministers discussed debt problems in developing countries," Aso added and reiterated that Japan will cooperate with G7 to contain the new virus and achieve Japanese and global economic recovery.
Market reaction
These comments were largely ignored by the market participants. As of writing, the USD/JPY was losing 0.07% on the day at 108.60. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 futures were up 0.6%.
