China NBS manufacturing PMI rises to 49.5, Non-manufacturing PMI jumps to 54.7

The latest data published by China's National Bureau of Statistic (NBS) on Thursday showed that the manufacturing sector activity in China improved to 49.5 in January, beating the forecast 49.3 and up from the previous month's 49.4 reading.
The Chinese non-manufacturing PMI for the same period improved dramatically, ticking into 54.7 from the previous 53.8 while bettering 53.9 expectations by a big margin.
