Australia Treasury cash deficit for 2016/17 revised lower

Australia Treasury cash deficit for 2016/17 has been revised lower to $33.2 billion from the previous forecast of $37.6 billion published in May. The Treasury said higher taxes on company profits and on capital gains from the propety market, welfare spending reduction helped improve the cash deficit.
