The largest provider of cryptocurrency wallets services launched its own cryptocurrency exchange

  • Cryptocurrency wallet Blockchain launches its proprietary trading platform.
  • The registration has started on Tuesday, July 30.

The operator of one of the most popular cryptocurrency wallet Blockchain announced the launch of its own trading platform PIT.

"The secret is finally out we’re launching The PIT, the fastest crypto exchange in the world (come find us at (link: http://pit.blockchain.com) pit.blockchain.com or
@BlockchainPIT on Twitter and Instagram)," the company announced in its Twitter.

Registration on the new platform started on Tuesday, July 30. The company intends to add support for about 26 digital assets within two weeks.

The developers say that the exchange should become the “fastest” trading platform among the existing ones as it will process the transactions almost instantly. Also, the exchange will be able to establish connection to Blockchain non-custodial wallets.

In addition, it is noted that the new exchange will be able to provide a level of liquidity inaccessible to competitors, since today Blockchain has more than 40 million registered wallets.

The developers intend to expand the list of assets available on the platform, and add an option of margin trading and support for SegWit.

To compete with such giants of the cryptocurrency industry as Coinbase or Binance, PIT will offer fast and high-quality interaction with customers. Blockchain noted that the customer support team had become the second largest division of the company as part of the transition to exchange activities.

As for the regulation, Blockchain stated that they had already applied for permits to operate in those countries where it is necessary. The company will not begin operatio in those jurisdictions until it obtains the licenses.

In the beginning of last year, Blockchain launched a service for buying and selling digital assets in the United States.
