Jumper Exchange emerges as key infrastructure for cross-chain asset transfers in modular DeFi
Jumper Exchange has extended its cross-chain routing infrastructure to support DeFi applications on the Sui blockchain, providing connectivity between Sui and major ecosystems including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, and Bitcoin-related infrastructure. The expansion enables developers building on Sui to integrate cross-chain asset movement directly into their applications via Jumper’s aggregated access to decentralized exchanges and bridges.
As decentralized finance continues to spread across a growing number of execution layers, rollups, and alternative layer-1 networks, moving assets between ecosystems remains a key point of friction. Bridge complexity, fragmented liquidity, and inconsistent security models present ongoing challenges for both users and developers aiming to deliver chain-agnostic experiences.
Sui’s modular architecture and high-throughput performance have attracted a wave of DeFi protocols focused on user-facing applications, on-chain games, and asset management. As these projects scale across multiple chains, Jumper Exchange provides the infrastructure required to access external liquidity and assets through a unified cross-chain layer.
Rather than operating a single-purpose bridge, Jumper Exchange aggregates multiple bridges and DEXs behind a unified interface and routing engine. For users, this means Sui-based assets can be moved to and from other networks in a familiar swap-style flow, while the platform automatically selects the underlying route that is expected to provide the best balance of execution quality, security assumptions and fees.
This approach is designed to align with the modular DeFi thesis, in which specialized components — execution layers, data availability, bridges and liquidity hubs — can be combined as needed. In this stack, Sui applications can plug into Jumper Exchange as their bridge module, reducing the need to integrate and maintain several individual bridges.
“Teams building on Sui want to ship products, not maintain a long list of custom bridge integrations,” said Jordan Neary, marketing lead at Jumper. “By acting as a single cross-chain access point, we help projects focus on their core features while still giving users the ability to move value between Sui, Bitcoin-related environments and other EVM and non-EVM chains.”
For end users, the experience is intended to be chain-agnostic. A trader might start with SUI or another asset on Sui and route it to a destination chain in one flow, similar to how they would perform a swap on a single network. The same infrastructure also supports cross-ecosystem routes such as using the bridge from SOL on Solana to BNB on BSC, demonstrating how Jumper Exchange abstracts the underlying bridge and liquidity sources regardless of the origin chain.
Developers can integrate Jumper Exchange through widgets or backend APIs, using it as a bridge layer for wallets, DeFi dashboards or on-chain games. This integration model allows Sui-native applications to offer multi-chain deposits, withdrawals and liquidity movements without asking users to leave the app’s interface.
Security remains a key focus for the team. Jumper Exchange does not custody user funds; assets move directly between user wallets and the underlying bridge or DEX protocols used for a given route. The aggregator’s role is to select and orchestrate those routes while providing transparency on which components are involved in each transaction.
Looking ahead, Jumper Exchange plans to broaden its Sui integrations, adding more assets and expanding tooling for developers who want to embed cross-chain flows natively into their products. Additional monitoring, analytics and risk controls are also under consideration to provide institutions and advanced users with deeper visibility into bridge performance and route selection.
About Jumper Exchange
Jumper Exchange is a cross-chain trading aggregator that enables users to swap and bridge digital assets across a wide range of networks, including Sui, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana and Bitcoin-related infrastructure. By integrating leading decentralized exchanges and bridges behind a single routing engine, Jumper Exchange focuses on efficient execution and simplified multi-chain user experiences, while remaining fully non-custodial and permissionless.
