UK govt. spokesman: EU-UK Brexit talks to continue next week

A spokesman for the British government recently crossed the wires announcing that the EU-UK Brexit talks would continue next week. "EU's Juncker, UK PM May agreed that work would now focus on guarantees relating to the backstop that underline once again its temporary nature as well as alternative arrangements and the political declaration, to reach a mutually acceptable agreement," the spokesman added. "EU's Barnier, Britain's Barclay agreed to focus on what we can do to conclude a successful deal as soon as possible."
