Analysts at ANZ explained that the NZD has been dragged lower, in part by the weaker AUD, but it is fair to say it has been a reluctant move.
"Global as opposed to domestic themes are pushing the kiwi around at present, with tonight’s non-farm payrolls release, and perhaps any progress on averting a US government shutdown, the main focal points. Support levels should hold today."
