According to the Greater Manchester Police, there are a number of confirmed fatalities and other injured in the explosion at Manchester Arena following a concert by singer Ariana Grande, with no further details provided.

In the FX space, USD/JPY is trading at 111.08, down -0.19% on the day, having posted a daily high at 111.36 and low at 111.01, while GBP/USD is trading at 1.2995, down -0.05% on the day, having posted a daily high at 1.3007 and low at 1.2987.
