EU’s Michel: Ongoing Brexit negotiations are not easy

European Council President Charles Michel, while presenting 2021-27 EU budget, commented on the ongoing Brexit negotiations and said that we would have cleared vision of where we are in the process towards autumn.

Michel further added that the commission would ask to prepare a Brexit need assessment by February 2021 to support countries, regions and sectors that would be most affected. They could be extended support from the proposed 5 billion euro Brexit Reserve fund.
