Breaking: Exxon Mobil beats Q4 forecasts on top and bottom lines
Exxon Mobil (XOM) reported an earnings and revenue beat for the fourth quarter. The largest public oil company in the US reported normalized earnings per share (EPS) of $2.05 compared with average Wall Street forecasts for $1.94. Revenue just surpassed expectations at just under $85 billion compared with a forecast for $84.6 billion.
The company said it would continue its $10 billion share repurchase plan over the next two years. Shares are trading up 1.5% at $77.07 in Tuesday's premarket.
