Australia’s dual-nationality crisis has claimed an eighth victim, says a Bloomberg report.

Tasmanian independent Senator Jacqui Lambie will quit parliament as she 'contravened the constitution by being a British national'.

However, her resignation is no threat to Turnbull government, but it does underscore the chaos that has gripped the parliament this year.

The Aussie dollar has shrugged off the news and remains well bid on the back of strong NAB business conditions data.
