According to the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, crypto regulations are not a priority in the country at the moment. The report was highlighted by the news agency Fontanka on May 16. The minister says that the crypto is not a subject of interest to the Russian people at the moment.
“The popularity of cryptocurrencies has decreased so far, which likely makes the regulation issue not that relevant already.”
The news come amid a bull market for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has corrected has more than doubled in 2019. In less than two months Bitcoin has corrected from $4,000 to almost $8,400.
