Bloomberg is reporting a front-page commentary in China Securities Journal, which says the Yuan is likely to be generally stable with a “slightly stronger” bias in the second half of this year.
Sound economic fundamentals, capital inflows from A-shares inclusion in the MSCI index and the upcoming bond connect between Hong Kong and China is likely to keep the currency well bid.
