White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki noted on Monday that Democrats made an offer designed to resolve all infrastructure issues and noted that they remain confident in reaching an agreement, as reported by Reuters.

"We welcome Republican counter-proposal on infrastructure," Psaki added. "We are optimistic about progress on infrastructure."

Market reaction

These comments don't seem to be having a significant impact on market sentiment. As of writing, the S&P 500 Index was up 0.1% on a daily basis at 4,416 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average was rising 0.08% at 35,088.
