UK's Frost and EU's Šefčovič to meet this week to break Brexit deadlock – The Guardian

David Frost, the British minister responsible for implementing the Brexit deal, and European Commission Vice President of Interinstitutional Relations and Foresight Maroš Šefčovič will meet later this week to try to break the Brexit deadlock over Northern Ireland, The Guardian reported on Monday, per Reuters.
Earlier in the day, "I think that most people around the table understand the vital importance of a country looking after the territorial integrity of that country," British Prime Minister Boris Johnson told reporters ahead of the NATO summit in Brussels.
Market reaction
The GBP/USD pair largely ignored this headline and was last seen posting small daily gains at 1.4114.
