Trump: Will discuss trade and military issues with the UK PM May

Reuters reports that the US President Trump has arrived at the Chequers, the country house of the UK PM Theresa May, for a working lunch with May.

Trump noted that he will discuss trade and military issues with the UK PM May while reiterating that the relationship with the UK is "very, very strong".

Trump and May are likely to hold a joint press conference at 1245 GMT following their working lunch.

Separately, the UK PM May’s spokesman was reported, as saying that the British government is confident it can do a good deal with the US.
