According to a report published on South China Morning Post (SCMP), quoting a source with knowledge of the matter, White House trade adviser Peter Navarro has been excluded from the Xi Jinping-Donald Trump dinner in Buenos Aires on December 1.

Exclusion of a famous China hawk and a key figure behind the US-China trade war indicates that both sides want to make progress on the dispute at the summit.
