NZ PM Ardern: Cabinet to make decisions on restrictions on Friday

New Zealand Prime Minister (PM) Jacinda Ardern said in a statement on Wednesday, the Cabinet is working towards the coronavirus restrictions and will announce them on Friday.
She added that the government is also working on targeted economic relief for Auckland if restrictions last longer.
Earlier today, the Guardian reported that Ardern has pushed back the dissolution of the country’s Parliament until Monday due to the Covid-19 outbreak, with a reassessment due then.
This comes after the South Pacific nation reported its first coronavirus cases in 102 days and called for level 3 lockdown restrictions on Auckland.
