Moody’s: Expect Swiss economic growth to rise to 1.5% this year

The US-based ratings agency, Moody’s Investors Service, is out with its forecast report on the Swiss economy, highlighting the following key points:

Expect Swiss economic growth to rise to 1.5% this year and 1.7% next year, compared to 1% for 2017 as a whole, with risks to the upside.

Given the stable outlook, we do not anticipate downward rating pressure to emerge on Switzerland’s AAA government rating.
