IMF’s Georgieva: Seeing dangerous divergence with countries pulling out of pandemic

International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva noted on Monday that they are seeing a dangerous divergence between developing and developed countries as they recovery from the pandemic, as reported by Reuters.
The recovery in developing countries is held back by slower COVID-19 vaccination, Georgieva added while speaking at the Paris Peace Forum. "That is danger for the coherence of growth and it is also a danger for global stability and security," she said.
