ECB’s Makhlouf: We are emerging from crisis

The eurozone is emerging from the coronavirus crisis, European Central Bank policymaker Gabriel Makhlouf said on Monday.

However, Makhlouf further added that he would hesitate to say that they can see the end of the crisis, as reported by Reuters.

These comments seem to be helping market sentiment improve. As of writing, the Euro Stoxx 50 Index was at fresh daily highs at 3,224 points, gaining 0.66% on the day. Meanwhile, the EUR/USD pair was up 0.62% on a daily basis at 1.1285.
