ECB's Lagarde: ECB constantly evaluating policy and measures for proportionality

The European Central Bank is supporting the Deutsche Bundesbank in its efforts to ensure its continued participation in the implementation of the Public Sector Purchase Programme (PSPP), said ECB President Christine Lagarde on Monday.

"The ECB is constantly evaluating its policy and measures for proportionality," Lagarde added and reiterated that she has confidence German court matter can be addressed, as reported by Reuters.

Market reaction

The EUR/USD pair largely ignored these comments and was last seen trading at 1.1244, gaining 0.25% on a daily basis.
