MGT Chief and cybersecurity visionary John McAfee crossed the wires earlier today, via Reuters, noting that Bitcoin exchange heads have been banned from leaving China and travelling overseas.

This comes as China’s clampdown on the growth of cryptocurrencies intensifies.

The precious metal’s move higher is also underpinned by the slight pullback in the US Dollar and declining US Treasury yields across the curve.
