BoC's Poloz: If we were to ease further, we would be closer to using unconventional tools

Speaking at Canadian Parliament, BoC's Governor Stephen Poloz stated that fiscal stimulus has eased the pressure for lower rates. Also, he highlighted that there are ingredients for a divergence between U.S. and Canada in terms of monetary policy. At the time of writing, USD/CAD is trading at 1.3301, down -0.27% on the day.
