According to Bloomberg, White House has explored their legal options to demote FOMC Chairman Jerome Powell back in February. None of the details of the report reveals whether this was President Trump's idea.

The greenback doesn't seem to be paying attention to this report with the US Dollar Index clinging to its daily gains near 97.70.

EUR/USD looks weak below 1.1800
