WH Adviser Bernstein: Equally concerned about inflation as before

In an interview with CNN on Friday, White House economic adviser Jared Bernstein said that they are equally concerned about inflation as before.

Bernstein further noted that he is still "very convinced" that inflation will turn out to be transitory.

Market reaction

These remarks don't seem to be having a noticeable impact on the greenback's performance against its major rivals. As of writing, the US Dollar Index was posting small daily gains at 91.93. Meanwhile, S&P Futures are down 0.4% on the day at 4,210.
