UK’s Frost: N. Ireland Protocol is not working and needs to change

In a scheduled appearance on Monday, Brexit Minister David Frost said that Northern Ireland (NI) Protocol Is not working and needs to change.
His comments come as the UK continues to feel the effects of a fuel crisis and faces the prospect of shortages in the run-up to Christmas due to a lack of HGV drivers.
Earlier on, The Independent reported that Frost was expected to tell “Brussels to be more "ambitious" in their approach and warn that "tinkering at the edges" will not fix the fundamental problems with the post-Brexit deal on Northern Ireland.”
Market reaction
GBP/USD runs through fresh supply on the renewed Brexit jitters, as it eases back below 1.3550.
At the time of writing, the cable trades almost unchanged on the day at 1.3546.
