The UK opposition Labour Party leader Corbyn is on the wires now, via Reuters, making some comments on the cross-party Brexit negotiations.
“Brexit talks with government have 'gone as far as they can.”
“Labour will continue to oppose May's Brexit deal.”
“Will consider any new proposals from government on Brexit.”
“Tories' move to select new leader has eroded government's authority.”
In his letter to the UK PM May, Corbyn confirms Brexit talks have collapsed.
Letter reads: “We have been unable to bridge important policy gaps...”
“...the increasing weakness and instability of your government means there cannot be confidence in securing whatever might be agreed between us.”
