Pre-London playbook: S&P 500 futures poised to test 6,302/6,297 floors ahead of 6,325 pivot

As the London session approaches, ESU2025 drifts into the 6,306–6,297 support band—holds could trigger a rally back through 6,317 toward 6,325, while a break risks a slide to 6,288–6,274 before New York open.

With the London open on the horizon, E-mini S&P 500 Futures have eased down through 6,317 and 6,311 overnight to settle on the critical 6,306 pivot. All eyes will now be on the 6,302 and 6,297 floors: a defensive hold here could fuel a push back up to 6,317–6,325, whereas a clean break would open the way for a deeper retracement toward 6,288 and 6,274 ahead of New York's session.

Current price action

  • Asian Drift Lower: Since failing to hold the 6,325 pivot, ESU has eased lower through the thin overnight liquidity.

  • Support Test Sequence:

    1. 6,317 — broken.

    2. 6,311 — broken.

    3. 6,306 — currently on the line (overnight pivot).

  • Final Bullish Defences:

    • 6,302 (micro-POC low).

    • 6,297 (session swing low).

A breach of 6,297 would open the door to a retest of 6,288 and then 6,274 (VAH breakout area from yesterday's New York session).

Updated levels and plan

Immediate Support - 6,306 - On the line—must hold on H1 pullbacks.

Last Defences - 6,302 / 6,297 - If held, look for reversal bars into long setups.

Failure Triggers - 6,288 → 6,274 - Break below → deeper retrace into yesterday's VAH.

Upside Reclaim - 6,306 → 6,317 - Hold 6,306 → retest 6,317 then revisit 6,325 pivot.
