In an interview with a Sunday newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche, French National Assembly President Richard Ferrand expressed his take on the French budget deficit, Reuters reports.
Key Headlines:
"We take the responsibility of having a higher-than-expected deficit, probably at 3.4 percent of the gross national product. But it will be a cyclical peak, not a structural trajectory."
President Macron announced wage increases and a tax cut last week after riots.
