Analysts at ANZ explained that the New York Fed’s Dudley overnight struck a similar tone to Chair Yellen.
"...with expectations that employment will continue to tighten and that the US will hit the 2% inflation goal over the forecast horizon. He added that normalisation needs to continue. Waiting for lower unemployment and higher inflation, could mean having to hike too quickly, sparking recession."
