European Union's Chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier, recently crossed the wires saying that the EU was ready to be as ambitious as Britan wanted to be. Barnier further repeated that they would not change the Irish backstop or reopen the withdrawal agreement. The GBP/USD pair didn't react to these remarks ahead of the U.S. GDP data.
