Citing sources familiar with the matter, Bloomberg recently reported that Tuesday's talks between the EU's Chief Brexit Negotiator Barnier and the UK's Brexit Secretary Barclay and Attorney General Cox had been difficult confirming earlier reports claiming that officials were unable to come to terms yesterday. Sources further explained that talks would "require much more work" in the coming days if the sides were to reach an agreement. The GBP/USD continues to trade in its range below 1.3150 with no apparent reaction to these headlines.

EUR/USD stays well offered below 1.1800
