China's Jan crude imports hit third highest on record

China’s customs department published the trade report for the month of January on Friday, revealing that China's January crude oil imports rose 27.5% from a year earlier to 34.03 million tonnes, or 8.01 million barrels per day, the third highest on record, Reuters reports.
