China's GDP hit 28-year low in 2018

China's growth rate hit a 28-year low in 2018, courtesy of faltering domestic demand and trade tensions with the US. 

The full year gross domestic product (GDP) stood at 6.6 percent as expected; the slowest annual pace since 1990.
