Bithumb and BitFinex add support for BitTorrent Token

  • BitTorrent Token adoption is gaining traction.
  • BTT costs a fraction of a dollar despite successful ICO.

BitTorrent Token (BTT) is still somewhere closer to the end of the cryptocurrency rating compiled by CoinMarketCap service. However, the coin’s adoption is gaining traction Bithumb, and BitFinex announced support for BTT and added it to the list of tradable instruments.

The users of the South Korean Bithumb got access to BTT trading and depositing as of February 19. Moreover, the exchange promised to distribute additional tokens among users who deposit BTT with Bithumb Also the platform plans BTT airdrop for TRON holders.

It is worth noting that Bithumb is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in South Korea and takes the third place by trading volumes in CoinMarketCap’s global rating.

“We are pleased to introduce trading for BitTorrent (BTT), available against BTC and USD,” BitFinex wrote in its official Twitter account.

BitFinex is a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange with average daily trading volume over $380 million.

BitTorrent (BTT) was released in circulation on January 18 via Initial Coin Offering carried out by Tron Foundation on Binance Launchpad platform. The total issuance was sold out in about 14 minutes with many investors were left frustrated as they did not manage to participate in the token sale due to technical issues.

Now the coin is changing hands at $0.000932 from $0.001244 high reached on February 5.
