Bitcoin (BTC) and Tron (TRX) now supported by digital wallet provider Opera
- Bitcoin and Tron added to the digital wallet Opera, users can conduct transactions in these currencies.
- Opera with their update aims to encourage actual payments and not just speculation.

Opera announced the adding of support for Bitcoin (BTC) and Tron (TRX) to their digital wallet for Opera for Android (version 53 beta).
Users of Opera for Android will be able to leverage the ability to now send and receive BTC, TRX and TRC-10 standard tokens, in addition via webpages request and receive addresses for users to conduct transactions with BTC.
Opera’s built-in digital wallet as previously announced already supported Ethereum (ETH) and ERC standard tokens, however the company’s post noted it will now support Web 3.0 which should encourage the asset to be used not only for speculation and the storage of value, but for payments.
