Superbowl Results

SUPER BOWL RESULTS – I forecasted that the Tampa Bay Bucs would dominate the first three quarters and then the Kansas City Chiefs would arise from the dead to win. The first part was right, as Tampa Bay did dominate the first three quarters.  However, Kansas City never got their act together and stayed dead, not rallying in the fourth quarter, and allowing Tampa Bay to win the Super Bowl. Bottom line, I was wrong on who would win the game.

One interesting aspect of the game was that beginning mid-way thru the third quarter, there was no more scoring and therefore it went flat line.  If we apply this to the Stock Market, this suggests a flat period for the Stock Market beginning with the second half of the third quarter and into the end of the year

If we average this with the January Barometer, we get a peak in the third quarter and then a moderate decline into the end of the year
