NZD/USD key support at 6840/30

AUDUSD & NZDUSD Spot

AUDUSD holding above first support at 7215/20 targets first resistance at 7245/50 (we topped exactly here yesterday). Above 7260 targets 7275/85.
Holding below 7215 is a sell signal targeting very minor support at 7200/7195 before the December low at 7163/60. On further losses look for 11 month trend line support at 7130/20, stops below 7100.

NZDUSD key support at 6840/30. Longs need stops below 6820. A break lower is more of a short term sell signal targeting 6800 then support at 6765/55.
Minor resistance at 6880/90 but above here is more of a buy signal targeting 6920/16 before a retest of the high at 6960/70. Expect strong resistance at 7000/7020. Try shorts with stops above 7040.

EUR/USD hits two-day highs near 1.1820

EUR/USD picks up pace and reaches two-day tops around 1.1820 at the end of the week. GBP/USD reverses two straight days of losses, surpassing the key 1.3600 yardstick on Friday. Cable’s rebound comes as the Greenback slips away from two-week highs in response to some profit-taking mood and speculation of Fed rate cuts. In addition, hawkish comments from the BoE’s Pill are also collaborating with the quid’s improvement.

Gold climbs further, focus is back to 45,000

Gold regains upside traction and surpasses the $4,900 mark per troy ounce at the end of the week, shifting its attention to the critical $5,000 region. The move reflects a shift in risk sentiment, driving flows back towards traditional safe haven assets and supporting the yellow metal.
