The New Zealand Dollar versus the US Dollar was trading within a narrow range during Thursday's session. The currency pair was moving between the 50-hour simple moving average at 0.6900 and the 200-hour SMA at 0.6860 during the previous session.

Everything being equal, it is likely that the exchange rate breaks the trading range today. Technical indicators suggest a southern breakout.

Meanwhile, the US fundamental events schedule at 13:30 GMT could change the entire movement of the currency exchange rate during the following trading session.
