March Should Be Pivotal

Looking ahead, short term the S&P 500 had a pullback to the bottom of its short term trading channel. It must either rally now or run the risk of breaking down to the longer term channel near 2335. Longer term, very seldom in market history have we seen so many upside gap openings for the DJIA in such a short amunt of time. Historically, this is not a healthy indication for the market as most gaps are eventually closed. If the market begins breaking some of the short term support lines, it could be a long ride down. The DJIA Fractal model indicates mid March should be pivotal, as a top or a bottom at that time may determine the trend for the next several months, well into the Summer.
