The total value of machine tool orders in September was 153 billion yen, rising 2.9% compared to the same month of the previous year. This was the 22nd consecutive month of year on year growth. New Zealand Food Price Index for October then follows at a quarter to 10 PM. Food prices slipped by one tenth of a percent month on month in September after dropping by a half a percent in August. And last up is the Australian NAB Business Survey for October at a half past midnight. Business confidence ticked up by one point to plus 6 in September, remaining around its long-run average.
