GBPUSD, Time Frame H4. Indicator signals: Tenkan-Sen and Kijun-Sen are influenced by “Dead Cross” (1); Tenkan-Sen and Senkou Span A are directed downwards. Ichimoku Cloud is still going down and expanding (2), Chinkou Lagging Span is on the chart, and the price is on Kijun-Sen. Short-term forecast: we can expect resistance from D Tenkan-Sen – Senkou Span A, and decline of the price.

GBPUSD, Time Frame H1. Indicator signals: Tenkan-Sen and Kijun-Sen ran into one another inside Kumo Cloud, they may intersect and form “Golden Cross” (1). Ichimoku Cloud is closed (2), Chinkou Lagging Span is above the chart, and the price is trying to fix above Kumo. Short-term forecast: we can expect support from Senkou Span B, and growth of the price.

XAUUSD, “Gold vs US Dollar”

XAUUSD, Time Frame H4. Indicator signals: Tenkan-Sen and Kijun-Sen are still influenced by “Golden Cross” (1) and D “Golden Cross” (3); all lines are directed upwards. Ichimoku Cloud is moving upwards (2), Chinkou Lagging Span is above the chart, and the price is moving inside the daily cloud. Short‑term forecast: we can expect support from Tenkan-Sen, and the price to move upwards inside D Kumo to reach its upside border.

Gold regains upside traction and surpasses the $4,900 mark per troy ounce at the end of the week, shifting its attention to the critical $5,000 region. The move reflects a shift in risk sentiment, driving flows back towards traditional safe haven assets and supporting the yellow metal.
